šŸ‘€ Inside my new studio

Back in 2021, Workspaces featured my home office. It was a converted bedroom and it served me well for years. I even launched the very first version of Shift Nudge from that little spot.

Last week they featured me again, this time in partnership with Figma.

A lot has changed. During our home renovation we built a standalone studio behind the house. Skylights, vaulted ceilings, and a custom black paneling structure across the ceiling that hides the mini split and holds acoustic panels. I record everything in here, so the acoustics matter. Shift Nudge lessons, Figma videos, Claude Code videos, and the live critiques I run for all the Shift Nudge members.

There's also a Mac mini tucked on the shelf running my always-on AI assistant. I talk to it through Telegram and Slack.

The full feature has 13 photos, the complete gear and software lists, and five interview questions. What changed since 2021, the one thing on my desk I couldn't live without, how I think about design and AI, whether animation is table stakes yet, and how I teach taste and judgment.
